#365 Too much saving
I find the newer versions a bit tedious!
After every song I add it asks to save.
After every line I enter it asks to save!
The "older" non beta versions did not do that.
Also, the interface is ugly. BETA ugly.
Where can I find the previous version witg the smooth edges?

Seems like Version 2.1.2 was the last "pretty" version?
The NEW versions looks like the OLD 1.6.1 version in the photo.
But I still have a problem with the excessive saving requests!!!

Concerning the look: you probably want to turn off
Settings · General Setting… · Appearance · Use new visual style
This produces a flat button appearance that only gets a border drawn when you point at it with your mouse, just as your screenshot of v2.1.2 shows.
This option requires a restart to take effect.
Concerning the prompts to save: you probably experience a problem related to spell checking. Whenever the spell checker finds what it thinks to be a spelling error, it erroneously signals the program, the content of that textbox has changed. Unfortunately there is no way to turn the spell checker off just for OpenSong, You can turn it off for the system (or rather the user) though. See #311 OpenSong asks to save unedited files.
We hope to release a new version soon, which will have this and many more bugs fixed.
