How can you retrieve the list of changes using 'ediff' when including the (widely available?) p4.el file in the
emacs? The available use of ediff (C-x p -) diffs with the latest file in the depot.

One can retrieve the list of changes (C-x p c), and you mentioned that one can use ediff to difference a file (C-x p -). You clearly want something else, but I don't know what it is.
