After working on it seems my current machine has an AMD chip with NVIDIA card which from what I see is causing misery to all ... If anyone has STEAM working on an intel mechaine let us know please :-) ... The README file contains all info you should need for smooth operation.  Feel free to posy any questions you may have here &lt;/p&gt;
