Hi All,
As this is not my project, I'm just going to post my changes here.. I updated.. the clamav.c file to work with php7. I'm not a "c" programmer but I only found a few things that needed to be changed. In short use at your own risk... and if someone smarter then me, can review this then please do. Simply down load the source swap out the c file (run diff on it so you can see what I changed).. and phpize it as before, seems to work fine for me.

Yes, i already know that problem, it's memory hungry.
But today, I've no solution for that :(

1: Is it possible to load the database just once on startup of apache itself (not startup of an apache process - that is, an individual web page)? Then, each apache process could be directed to use that same database already in memory, saving time and memory, since the database won't need to be loaded each time. Right now the "load DB on startup" option seems to load it on the startup of every apache process.

How can i install php-clamav on Windows. Got no phpize and no make ;)
Just need the php_clamav.dll for php 5.2.5.

Once upon a time I report a bug relating to apache worker mpm. I reported this bug to clamav and they said this is because the module is not thread safe. Is it possible to make this module thread safe?
