I think it was working actually. PMD command &amp;amp; args was correct, and gave the correct result.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think I was seeing checkstyle output, which I thought I'd disabled. Please open "View-&amp;gt;IDE Log" in the new output window you should be able to locate something like "org.jmgl.php.messdetector.BatchInterface" execute ..phpmd ARGS, please verify that all arguments are ok, you may check it by your own on cmd.&lt;br /&gt;
