passwords that some people have put in have appeared &lt;br /&gt;
in clear text and some haven't.  If it appears in clear text &lt;br /&gt;
they are unable to login.  I don't really know how to &lt;br /&gt;
reproduce this, but I am running MySQL 3.23.56 and &lt;br /&gt;
