have a waiting list for when shows are sold out. &lt;br /&gt;
Then when people cancel, the people on the waiting &lt;br /&gt;
list are emailed asking if they would like the ticket.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, at the same time that the confirm/cancel &lt;br /&gt;
emails are sent out, an email with &lt;br /&gt;

"you are &amp;lt;number&amp;gt; on the waiting list, we expect &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;number&amp;gt; of tickets to become availiable at the &lt;br /&gt;
door, you may want to come and see if there are &lt;br /&gt;
open seats, but we cannot promise availiablity"&lt;br /&gt;
