Passing parameters to XSLT

The PHP is a great convenience - but I'd love to see something
built into the functions that lets me pass variables to the XSLT
files. I hope I'm not missing it, but i only see ways to pass the uri's
of the xml and xslt files. Thanks.

RSS Creation Class

I am interested in a class that allows me to interface
with an RSS object model that can then be dumped in
any of the major RSS formats. Is this on the table?

read stylesheet from xml file

class_xslt should be able to read an xml-stylesheet
from the xml doc. eg if the xml doc starts with:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="/xsl/bio.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
...

then we should be able to just write:

$xslt=new Xslt();
$xslt->setXml("foo.xml");
$xslt->transform()
