Hello my name is eric, I have a problem fetching my mails from windows live mail after setting up an account in phoenix. I may have set my account wrong. I have puttin in the server info www.hotmail.fr with my login informations, but a dialogue box saying 'code 10013 in function connect permission denied' appears when i try to fetch mails. I have also tryed pop3.hotmail.fr smtp.fr and imap.hotmail.fr a dialogue box also appears saying 'code 11004 in function GetHostByName No Data; perhaps no route to host. I really wish to use this program since it is so lite easy and quick to use. Could anybody help me with this please? Thanks a million

HI, First of all, I love this program, I' ve been using it for years, but always with dial up internet conection, I' ve tried to use it through a Lan, with a proxy server and I don't know how to configure it.
I' m using WinXP. If someone can give me a tip, I will preciate it.

send mail fails with an SMTP-AUTH-Login error

Hi!
I'm not able to send mails although recieving is ok.
This is the text I get:
recv: 550 5.7.0 Need to authenticate via SMTP-AUTH-Login {mp048}
send: RCPT TO:<xxx@gmx.net>
recv: 503 5.5.1 MAIL first {mp048}
stat: SMTP error 503 5.5.1 MAIL first {mp048}

smtp after pop is checked and I don't finde any place else to configure an authntication (-- like in outlook)

Would someone please relieve me of my muteness???

I have tried to set up an account in phoenix but i keep getting "no data perhaps no route to server" when i fetch mail.

I tried phmail in vista rc2, work well but to selection
the folder inbox display this: "cannot create file
d:\folderprog\accounts\nameaccount\inbox\folder.idx
Access in denied" ,this same problem onto winxp at move
folder in other place.

I have more of 1000 mail stored with phmail, gmail
support added by means of www.stunnel.org,
POP3/SMTP/NNTP simulation server "html2pop3"

hi, PM is great!
i just see that with any message you can see in the
header of the mail x-mailer: phonix mail etc.

how can i get it away? don't wish that people see which
mailer i'm using.

Phoenix mail is great for years, but why are accounts.......

Hello all:

PM is a great software. But why are the fils as
accounts, Reposit etc. not in the same folder a PM??
They are now have been moved to another location?
(German computer):

C:\Dokumente und
Einstellungen\CG\Anwendungsdaten\Phoenix Mail

Is there any reason for??

I am able to receive mails from my server. But sending
delivers always SMTP error 503.
What are the possible faults I make?
