I don't know of any that will monitor a not working address for becoming working. The former is useful for people with web sites that want to know when their site(s) encounters a problem. I have the need to ping many machines in different cycles. For this a have to switch from the one or the other machine. Not every ping is running at any time. It would be nice to see the name of the machine.&lt;/p&gt;
