plplot on Mingw64: init() issue

Dear all,

I am currectly developing a simple c++ code using plplot. You can find the code at https://github.com/srebughini/ASALIplot .

On Ubuntu 20.04 LTS everything works fine, but when I try to run the code on Windows 10 using Mingw64 I get the following behaviour:

1/ I am able to compile the code using:

g++ -g main.cpp plotInterface.cpp -o asali.exe -I. pkg-config plplot --cflags --libs -lplplotcxx

2/ When I run the code it is "stuck" right after calling pls->init().

Could you help me with this issue?
