Optimisation algorithm problem

Hello,

I am expecting to use your software APP to handle a real project of software development that I have (about 4500 Men.Days).

In order to learn how to use it, I started with very simple cases and I found out that the optimisation algorithm was not giving the best solution.

I have attached an example of project very simple (only 2 tasks and 2 guys).

The project consists in specifying then developing a piece of software using 1 guy for the specifications (8 hours) and another one for the software development (8 hours).

I found out the following problems when using the APP software:

- The load of each task is increased by 20% even when I specify that no training is necessary. That results in 10 hours instead of 8. (I have run other examples with bigger figures and I have also observed an extra rate of 20%).

- The software does not start the development immediately after the specifications as it should. Instead of that, it starts the week after. I don’t understand why.

I think that I encounter these problems because I don’t use the SW correctly and I hope you will be able to help me.
