Hi there and sorry for the problem! I am curious if you have Symantec or other security software? There may be a conflict with the security software. One note... if you are on macOS you can't even install without going to Security/preferences and allow the install because it is not downloaded from Apple. Please let us know if you have security software and possible go offline and disable and see if it launches...

I did a quick Google search and it is probably your firewall or Windows Defender. Here was an article but there are others that offer workarounds https://solveforum.com/forums/threads/windows-defender-seems-to-be-flagging-java-applications.456889/
