need a range of 16 PTP server UDP ports corresponding
to 16 configurable MAC addresses and generated static
IP addresses. I have arbitrarily chosen these to be
0x2220 to 0x222F; however, this overlaps with the
current client port of 0x2221, causing any PTP clients
to receive back their own discovery requests, and in
general it is messy. So I propose moving the client
port to 0x221F.

Paul T. indicating the configurable MAC byte of the
sending/discovered device. Not all UDP implementations
allow passing up the sending UDP port (e.g. Python). We
need the sending UDP port to send replies back to for
proper firewall operation.

Paul T.
