However, at that point, you cannot limit the <br /> choices further by typing the rest of the word so you're <br /> either stuck scrolling a long list or you have to hit Esc, <br /> then type and try again. For example, in Resharper for <br /> VS, when intellisense drops down, you can continue <br /> typing and intellisense limits the list and selects the <br /> newer matches on the fly.
