Just installed the new version and pressing the minus key hides the boot loader that I wanted to. Just out of curiosity where is it storing the directory of the boot loader that you have hidden by pressing the minus key?

#122 Hiding the Recovery HD option

You've posted to the rEFIt forum, but your question is about rEFInd. You may want to post instead to the rEFInd discussion forum. That said, rEFInd 0.11.0 is out now, and it includes a new way to hide boot loaders by hitting the minus (
-
) key or (on PC keyboards) the Delete key. You may want to try that.

Roderick W.
I am having issues hiding the Recovery HD partion that shows up when I reach the boot loader screen. I have using the don't_scan_volumes option in the config file and some other suggestions that I found but nothing seems to be hiding the option. I managed to get rid of the legacy boot for the windows side. I will attach my config file so that you can see if anything is wrong
