mySql makes a function real_escape_string() available to api users, but for some reason not as far as I can see to query users.

I have always had a very simple equivalent written in rexx that does a few changestr on the query, but I have now become aware that what needs escaping changes from mySql version to version.

If it is not too much trouble, and without a sense of urgency it would be nice to have access to that function through rexx/sql

thanks Jon

mySql escape string

Ticket 5 has been modified: mySql escape string

I have what I think is the latest sqlite3.dll.
VERSION returns "rexxsql 2.5 15 Oct 2006 WIN32 SQLite3"
This rexxsql does not support the SQLGetData() function with this sqlite3.

I have tried the SQLFetch() function to get the BLOB, but it returns an empty string value.
I presume because the first characters in the BLOB are 0x00s, which may be another
issue.

Support of Oracle Secure External Password Store

Support of Oracle Secure External Password Store. It appears to me that ora.c would have to use OCISessionBegin with the OCI_CRED_EXT mode instead of the orlon call. This for Oracle 10g Release 2 and above.

Warren T.
