&lt;p&gt;(22001) &lt;span&gt;[Microsoft]&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;[ODBC SQL Server Driver]&lt;/span&gt;String data, right truncation&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These failures seem to be random &amp;amp; can often be circumvented by a little rearranging of the sequence of calls to RexxSql.  But there is no consistency and what works today may fail tomorrow on exactly the same database.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The exact same code never fails using the 32-bit Windows Open Object Rexx and the 32-bit RexxSql.  Unfortunately I really need to use the 64-version of Open Object Rexx, so it's a real showstopper.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have seen this failure in ooRexx 4.0, 4.1, and currently on 4.2.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary></entry></feed>
