<div class="markdown_content"><p>Since upgrading to the 64-bit Windows ODBC version of RexxSql with Open Object Rexx, I get frequent failures as follows:</p> <p>(22001) <span>[Microsoft]</span><span>[ODBC SQL Server Driver]</span>String data, right truncation</p> <p>These failures seem to be random &amp; can often be circumvented by a little rearranging of the sequence of calls to RexxSql. But there is no consistency and what works today may fail tomorrow on exactly the same database.</p> <p>The exact same code never fails using the 32-bit Windows Open Object Rexx and the 32-bit RexxSql. Unfortunately I really need to use the 64-version of Open Object Rexx, so it's a real showstopper.</p> <p>I have seen this failure in ooRexx 4.0, 4.1, and currently on 4.2.</p></div>
