In fact, all version 1.8.x.x versions have been developed under Windows 8 Professional x64 on my PC. ;-)</p> <p>When nothing happens when you click the Robocode icon, something IS wrong with your Java installation, as starting up Robocode is done directly through Java.</p> <p>Make sure that you have a JDK 6 or 7 installed (Java Developer Kit), and that you have set up the %JAVA_HOME% environment variable correct, and added a path to %JAVA_HOME%\bin to you %PATH% as well.
