I simply clicked the Download option that was presented by the web page linked in the email notifying me of the latest version being available.&lt;br/&gt;
The file downloaded was robocode-1.9.3.8-src.zip which did not contain the setup.jar&lt;br/&gt;

However, the ordinary robocode setup .jar file is there:&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Perhaps you picked the "wrong" version?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you have trouble installing Robocode, just write this in a command-line standing in the folder where you downloaded to:&lt;/p&gt;

I have the knowledge, skill and time to workout how but would rather use the time to play and explore the examples supplied.&lt;br/&gt;
Would some please either point me in the right direction or supply an installtion process I can use.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary></entry></feed>
