I then uninstalled satepeer and reinstalled. The DB came back. I don't know when, but the DB is gone again. Probably in the last day or two as I would have noticed that no IP's were blocked. I tried the uninstall etc. thing and did not work. The safepeer.cache seems to be gone. It's a hidden file but I was able to find the properties and log files. I have J2SE ver. 5.0 upd.10 and it was working with this version. The DB URLs listed The blocklist url;http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/spconfig.txt
could not connect. The Maindatabase and Secondary url;http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/.....
http://homepage.networld.com/....
also could not connect. Is this system down or is there some kind of bug in my system. Anyhow my system is barefoot on broken glass.

Please advise,
block IP addresses which would then be added to the
block list, eventually choking the Bittorrent
networks, is this a real threat? I mean looking at the
current state of the block lists it is already over
half the Internet is this not a bit high for a few
undesirables is it not likely that that the blocking
is already a little on the overkill side of things?
