Hi,

Can you please add an option for filtering results out of a list, i.e., there's an alert cluttering up the display and I'd like to remove it from my view, temporarily.

View rule that triggers an alert

The ability to view a rule, in its entirety, which triggers an event. This would aid in the learning process, increase a users ability to tune rules and understand why specific traffic is matching a particular rule.

Change the database to the "Archived" database

If you archive the alerts, you can't see it.

It will be great if you can review the archived alerts.

"Clear data tables" button with a warning message

When you click on "Clear data tables", it's clean the database.

It will be great if appears a warning message when you click on the button to accept or cancel the operation.

RSS Feeds for Queries

Adding RSS feeds to the queries such as "Most recent 15 Alerts" would be extremely useful. In my case, I have a portal page with feeds from my security products. I don't have a good feed for snort at this time. Thanks - Chris

Script checks DB for columns multiple times

During execution, especially archiving, the script uses an ADODB function to check if a column exists every time the function is called as opposed to caching it after the first time the function is run during the script execution.

Automated acid table update

Supply an optional PHP script to allow the system hosting BASE to update acid tables and remove or inhibit the users' browser from this task. The script would be scheduled by the BASE administrator from within the host system shell.

The benefits would be more timely BASE updates (especially after weekends & holidays) and improved user browser performance.

Transactions for Writes/Deletes

Is there a way that BASE can support optional transactions for Databases that support it?

I'm having a problem with the archiving that partially copies some alerts if it's stopped in the middle. Transactions would fix this.

MySQL supports transactions in InnoDB.

MySQL Referential Integrity Support

I saw a disturbing thing in the config file today:

MySQL in the InnoDB engine supports this as well.
