I downloaded edi054b.zip (DOS binary), then replaced the setedit.exe with the one from setedit-Win32-BCPP-0.5.4.zip. I then ran, from the bin directory, "setedit myfile.txt". At first I was hopeful, as it successfully loaded the file's contents. But then before I did anything, it popped up the dialog: "setedit.exe has stopped working", with two buttons to close or debug. I selected close. The popup went away and the app remained, but was unresponsive.

#15 Crashes on Windows 10 with message "setedit.exe has stopped working"

Just tried running it from cmd, this time if i close the "About" dialog, it crashes after 6-8 seconds without any warning/dialog.

Crashes on Windows 10 with message "setedit.exe has stopped working"

OS: Windows 10 64 bit

As explained on the setedit website I downloaded the "Binary windows installer" (last release v0.5.4) and then downloaded the win32 last release (v0.5.4) and replaced the setedit. exe in the /bin/ folder with the win32 executable (which I renamed to setedit.exe).

First thing I noticed is that the mouse doesnt work, and when I close the "About" dialog, using the tab and space keys, setedit crashes with a dialog: setedit.exe has stopped working

I was really looking forward to using this editor. I just hope there is a way out.
