Crash on typing

In current version of ShadowIRC (a13, built from CVS) ShadowIRC
crashes as soon as I attempt to type anything. It appears to be
looping in event handling code, eventually crashing in HIObject
code.

Given the simplicity of the ShadowIRC functions involved, it looks
like a data structure is corrupt. (The loop suggests that the input
field might be embedded in itself...)

Client locks up when accessing server

On attempting to access irc.quakenet.org, when the
#macintosh window opens, ShadowIRC fries on me. It
works fine up until that point, but locks the instant the
#macintosh window opens. I've poked around the
software a bit, but can't find a way to keep that channel
from opening automatically.

Realname doesn't accept space

The Real Name field in the connection prefs no longer accepts
a space.

ShadowIRC path fragility

if you move ShadowIRC, or otherwise break the path it had when it was launched, ShadowIRC will suddenly refuse to quit - nothing will happen when you invoke the quit command. if the 'ask to save prefs before quitting' preference is turned on, it does not even display the dialog. only restoring the truth of ShadowIRC's path restores its ability to quit.

accents and special characters acting funny.

Typing option-u-u should make "ь". In ShadowIRC, it's
making "сь".

I'm not sure if this is a bug so much as a change in
functionality. I used to be able to use tab to nick complete.
Now tab makes a msg to whoever I was trying to type to.

?-A in the input line selects the wrong thing

Instead of selecting all the text in the text box, it selects all
the users in the current channel's userlist.

pbxbuild install does not work

Currently, pbxbuild install fails on the EditSymbols
stage. My understanding is that we added this stuff for
10.2. Can someone take a look at this?

Auto-query vulnerability

whenever auto-query is on, regardless of state (any|outgoing|incoming), an incoming action will trip it.

fonts changed when Keyboard menu is used

Use of the 'flag menu' causes the Inputline's font to
be changed/corrupted. Is it possible to disable
switching until ShadowIRC can handle other character
sets? (CJK?)
