Unable to get AUDIO_U8 format

Hello,

I compiled 1.0, by removing the architecture flag in ./comp (I'm on x64)

$ ./comp
In file included from simcar.c:30:
faces.h: In function ‘citfiscom’:

Then I tried to play:

$ ./simcar tracks/track1

Set 640x480x16
Unable to get AUDIO_U8 format

I use OSS but have ALSA emulation enabled. what might be the trouble?
