1 Your installer fails to correctly identify MariaDB 10.$whatever as a database version greater than 5. The installation cannot continue. Hardcoding the version in the file doesn't work either?

What's worse is that MariaDB 10 is not table compatible with Mysql 5.5 so you cannot just apt-get purge MariaDB-* packages and then install the other. Mysql complains about missing tables that never get generated. Messy!
