My documents &lt;br /&gt;
generally include extensive lists of citations and &lt;br /&gt;
bibliographies. I also try to use Linux for my everyday &lt;br /&gt;
tasks, for a number of reasons. The last umbilical cord &lt;br /&gt;
which keeps me tied to word is bibliography editing &lt;br /&gt;
software, ie. Endnote, which does not run on Linux and &lt;br /&gt;
does not interface with Open Office.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My functionality request would be a plugin which would &lt;br /&gt;
interface with the OpenOffice package, possibly &lt;br /&gt;
replacing its internal bibliography database manager &lt;br /&gt;
(which I find quite useless for various reasons), which &lt;br /&gt;
would allow me to insert citations into my OpenOffice &lt;br /&gt;
documents as easily as Endnote or Reference Manager &lt;br /&gt;
do it with Word.&lt;/p&gt;
