I would like to have a command line argument that would allow it to loop and start the slide show over again like you can do from within the GUI. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

transition effects between pictures

Thanks for the fine piece of software! Maybe I missed
something, but I didn't find a way to define a
transition effect between single pictures in my sls file.

The only way to make a blend transition effect I found
was to put the pictures all on one line, but then I
couldn't define any zoom or panorama effects anymore.

I read for presentations with dia positives that the
audience can easily watch more than twice the amount of
pictures if there is no significant dark to bright
switching in the presentation.

The theory behind this is that the iris of our eyes
tries to adjust to the darkness inbetween to pictures
and than has to adjust to the brightness of the next
picture. This tires us watching our beloved photos.

My wish for your excelent applet would be that it is
possible to put some kind of transition effect between
the single pictures for this reason (to watch a show at
least at the same comfort as on a Rollei Twin Projector
;-).
