I continued to develop the project on the site: https://github.com/LeonisX/space-trader
I plan to conduct deep code refactoring as well as use internalization.
Internalization can be implemented in several ways, I will do this through reflection.

This is probably an obsolete issue by now; since Java 7 has been out for a while, and Java 8 Early Access even available, plus the fact that I'd like to re-design the UI using JavaFX's FXML -- probably means I'll be pushing for more recent Java-version compatibility, with good reason -- simplification of the User Interface.

FXML really shines because of -- in this case -- removing dependencies on those JWinforms classes, as well as the aged Java AWT classes. In HTML-like fashion, it uses CSS for UI-styling; but even with the default styling, most components look pretty nifty. Beyond that, if someone wanted to, say, change a background image or text size on a control, he could simply copy the default CSS, and then edit to his heart's content.

... it's been a while since I looked at the code. I know, I suck at timeliness.

Funny thing is, I actually have figured out how to handle I18N; I just may not have really pushed my work upstream. Anyone besides me still interested in this game? I see a few variants have sprung up on Android and other mobile device app stores in the time since I last checked. I have planned to start again, sometime soon -- like the Phoenix, rising from the ashes...
