<p>However, databases like Oracle, when an error occurs, tell you the position within the statement of the error, and if it's a multi-line statement , that is none of the above.</p>
<p>Since Squirrel is clever enough to put a box around a multi-line statement, clearly it's clever enough to know where the statement boundaries are, and therefore what position your cursor is within the statement. It would therefore appear to be fairly trivial to show the user the position of the cursor within the statement down the bottom.
