Good Morning. Great product in Sweet Home 3D.
Has anyone suggested adding parametric capabilities to Sweet Home, like that is FreeCad. Giving us the ability to store values in a key fashion and then use those values in your element text boxes would be great.
For example, I already use groups to position related elements, such as multiple cabinets used in an island or the upper lowers against the wail. I would like to use common element values across the groups. Color in the finish stage of design would be a good example. The upper and lower cabinets will have two different shades of gray. But how I have used groups to facilitate structure does not support changing colors. If there was a key/value store where I could create keys with rgb values, I could use that key variable name in the color selector to assign the color. And while I am trying to hone in on that perfect tone, I would only have to change it one place instead of finding 7 or 8 occurrences of cabinets that require that change.
This would also be useful for cabinets dimensions (height, namely).
