Calender events get multiple entries upon synchronisation

When I synchronise my calendar in Thunderbird, events sometimes get multiple entries in my Lightning/Sunbird calendar. I.e. I see the same event, say three times after synchronisation. Strangely this doesn't happen always and I have not yet been able to recognise a pattern behind this behaviour. However, the bug is reproducible in different accounts. I use the latest version of the plugin, i.e. v0.9.1

I've attached the log (note that I've deleted part of all occurrences of my IP address, so this is intentional).

EMAIL;INTERNET;PREF not added correctly

An e-mail in a vcard:

EMAIL;INTERNET;PREF:example@example.com

is added to the custom field in Thunderbird. This should be the first preferred e-mail address.

reminders not carried across from thunderbird to myFunambol

The calendar items that I create in thunderbird (2.0.0.17/Linux i386) with Lightning (0.9) have a default reminder set to 15 minutes before the event. If I create a new event with a reminder and sync it with version 0.7 of the mozilla plugin, the event has no reminder in the myFunambol portal. Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be? If it makes a difference, I'm using the 'cal' database on funambol, rather than 'event' as that is what my phone was set to.

I have a Sony ericsson phone and the mozilla thunderbird client which I keep in sync with myFunambol. The phone settings were set up automatically by text message from the myFunambol portal and the calendar database name given to it is 'cal'. When I first downloaded the mozilla client (then at version 0.5) the default calendar database name was 'event' and I had to change it to 'cal' to sync the items with my phone. Is this a bug?

Only all day events sync

Hi,

I'm using the plugin version 0.5, as available to download today, in Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (20080724) under Ubuntu Linux, up to date. I'm using my.funambol.com with this environment.

Synchronization of contacts worked fine. Sync of events only work fine, FROM the CLIENT Thunderbird TO the SERVER if the new event is an all day entry. If it is a one hour duration entry, for example, sync fails, as logged in the attachment. Sync of event from the server works well, even if the event is not all day entry.

Tried some modifications and everything appears to be related to the all day - not all day problem.

At the log, the error seems to be this one:

Segmentation fault when synchronizing

I'm running Debian Lenny with Icedove 2.0.0.0.16 and the Funambol plugin version 0.5. I'm synching with Horde 3.2.

I first tested the plugin with just contacts (Lightning was not installed). I never experienced a segmentation fault.

Then I installed Lightning (version .8). Every 3rd of 4th time I try to synchronize, I get a segmentation fault. Here's some sample out put:

new contacts sync, but edits and deletes do not

Thanks for the work on this plugin!

I'm running Debian Lenny with Icedove 2.0.0.0.16 and the Funambol plugin version 0.5. I'm synching with Horde 3.2.

I'm only syncing contacts.

When I add a new contact in Icedove or a new contact in Horde, the contacts are sync'ed beautifully.

However, if I delete a contact in Horde or Icedove, it is not deleted in the other application. And, if I modify a contact (either change the name or add a phone number) the changes are not synchronized.

If there's any additional info I can provide, please let me know.

Hi, i'm an italian boy.
The plugin do not import any recurrent infos.
So, you set a birthday in the '65 (for example), well, in exportation the funambol online database receive correctly this info from funambol/thunderbird, but when you make the importation into another thunderbird (a portable pc, etc.) it lost any recurrent info, so you can find the birtday... but only in the '65.

I'm available for english to italian translation!
How i can make this translation??
Please answer me about this problem!

Confused about timezone

ok, in my settings of ligthning i define my timezone as europe/berlin. in my.funambol my timezone is also at europe/berlin. but after syncing of my events all are 2 hours different. (as example: events which are started at 9 o'clock in ligthning, will start at 11 o'clock in my.funambol.com after syncing. on my cell phone the times are also 2 hours different as in lightning. i found on my.funambol.com the possible to enable/disable timezone settings (profile -> advanced) but this will not change something. all my events have 2 hours difference in the timesetting.

i don't know if this is a problem by funambol or the plugin

Weekday's event

In Lightning it is possible to define a series of events which are repeating on weekdays (that means each monday until friday, not on saturday or sunday). These will be ignored, because after syncing such events, they will also visible on saturday and sunday in my.funambol.com (and then also on my cell phone then).

i don't know, if this is a problem by funambol or funambol mozilla plugin.
