Where is the XPI ?

The latest version of the Funambol Mozilla Plugin comes as a tgz file. There are lots of files when I unzip the tgz, but I don't see an XPI. Where is the XPI that I can import to Thunderbird. The previous version, Funambol PIM Plugin v0.5, has an XPI file but it doesn't work for with the latest Thunderbird, ver 31.5.0.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have FUnambol installed in my Thunderbird profile. I must have setup something wrong, because as it starts to sync, Thunderbird crashes completely. The problem is that I set Funambol to start syncing as TB starts, so I can't even enter the settings to check what I might have done wrong.

If I remove the extension folder, then the extension is gone. But once I re-install the extension, the old settings are there again. Hence, I need to find where these settings are stored and get rid of them, so then I can re-install Funambol and reconfigure from scrap.

Where are the settings stored?

In the Latest News section on April 8 2008 version 0.4.3 is mentioned but in the files section I only see version 0.4.1 which dates back to October 24, 2007. Where can I get version 0.4.3?

Please add new compile instructions for LINUX + README

Hi i love the plugin but after i switched to Ubuntu x64 bit i couldnt use it anymore because there is noch 64bit build...

Because Im a C++ developer i thought i could compile it myself (made makes before ect have one small onw project)

But after looking into your Project I must (unfortunately say) its no good example for Opensource, youre missing a readme wich explains the basic direoctorys and what they are there for.
And the compile readme is outdated and not complete.

I treid to fix the makefile in funambol-mozilla-plugin/syncmlcomponent/build/syncmlcomponent/posix
but id din't work (there were a lot realative pathes which just made no sense after the compile readme) I used absolutes and did everythink in the readme... but still not working...

So I'm begging Pleeeeeeaaaaaasseee fix the README, Compile Readme and/or Makefile

Why you should do it ? because you will get less work i would get my 64bit verison (a lot of other people would too) you wouldnt have to make an own 64bit version, and maby there will even be bugfixes and feature updates if some other coders can compile it...

I tried this with Tird 1.5 with the new sync and I've
regressed them both too: 1.0.7/1.0.2sync

Maybe I've got a unique case here - all the better for
bug finding fodder:

No matter what I set the TasksEvents URIs to, or the
general SyncML url, I always get this:

How hard is it to port this over to Mac OS X.
I've got it working in windows XP via virtual pc, but I
really want to run it in Thunderbird for OS X directly.

Synchronization fail and can't set Event URI

Hi,

I'm trying to get this to synchronize with the
ScheduleWorld syncml server's calendar (can already do
this with the outlook plugin), but I'm getting a
client-side exception doing a basic synchronization
(see below). I suspect this may be because I can't set
the Events URI (under Edit Calendar).

My environment is as follows:

1. Windows XP home-ed
2. Mozilla Calendar 2005011112-cal (0.8.3+)
3. Firefox 1.0.7
4. Mozilla Synchronizer v1.0.2

My SyncML Settings are:

DeviceID sc-api-nat
ServerName http://sync.scheduleworld.com
SyncURL http://sync.scheduleworld.com/sync4j/sync
Username xxxxxx
Password xxxxxx

'My Calendar' settings are:

Events URI is checked.
I tried to enter 'cal' into the URI area and hit OK;
however, returning to the dialog shows it has not been
saved.

Tasks URI is unchecked.
