&lt;p&gt;If your app. doesn't need to "provide services", but just to call services, you should destroy it, and then create a simple outgoing channel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think that when you load comm (package require comm), such standard channel should not be created automatically.&lt;br /&gt;
Users should be explicitely create it &lt;br /&gt;
