&lt;p&gt;When I EDIT a TexMaths equation, I see a momentary CONSOLE appear in the Windows Taskbar and, importantly, I can see the newly-re-rendered equation on the LibreOffice Writer page appear exactly as expected.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So compiling the Tex and rendering it is not the problem, the problem is that TexMaths dialog itself takes easily 10-15 seconds before it closes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Windows 11, TexMaths 0.52.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have tried switching SKIA on and off with and without 'forcing' and I have even tried hardware acceleration on and off but to no avail.&lt;/p&gt;
