TexMaths window takes AGES to close

I have a strange behaviour that hasn't always been the case but I cannot seem to find what is causing it.

When I EDIT a TexMaths equation, I see a momentary CONSOLE appear in the Windows Taskbar and, importantly, I can see the newly-re-rendered equation on the LibreOffice Writer page appear exactly as expected.

So compiling the Tex and rendering it is not the problem, the problem is that TexMaths dialog itself takes easily 10-15 seconds before it closes.

Windows 11, TexMaths 0.52.

I have tried switching SKIA on and off with and without 'forcing' and I have even tried hardware acceleration on and off but to no avail.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate and ideas.
