#1370 Hide ".tex" file extension in tab title

No

Most of the times the files opened in TeXstudio are .tex files.
The file extension, just if ".tex", can be hidden in the tab title.
In this way more tabs titles fit in the screen width and the fuss of having to use the "next/previous tab" button is slightly less frequent.
I attach a screenshot for making the concept more clear.
Thanks,
Ilario

I don't agree: how to be sure the corresponding files actually have such .tex extension? And people used to use TXS would be puzzled: "Hey, TXS has removed .tex extensions of all my TeX files!".

    There are also .bib files

I also edit a lot of .xml files

My proposal is just for .tex files, which I suppose are the most used ones.
.bib, .xml etc would have to keep their extension shown in order to avoid confusion.
