reports that you can't type lon.  Or more generally lVn&lt;br /&gt;
for any vowel.  The bug is this line in&lt;br /&gt;
NeedToBufferConsonant:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;previousWylie = unicode2Wylie(AscW(previous))&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The problem is that in this case previous is "lo", due&lt;br /&gt;
to Word's idiotic practice of smushing several Unicode&lt;br /&gt;
characters into a single Word character.  Need to look&lt;br /&gt;
