We pair-program (work closely when writing code). I may be away from my computer all day, which makes it hard to update my time tracker when tasks change.

It would be neat if there was some sort of solution for this. Here are some ideas (alternatives) of how this could possilby work:

(a) Suppose there was an option to connect my time tracker with another tracker on another PC. I could connect my tracker to Joe's PC, then go work with Joe all day, and anything Joe does to his tracker would remotely set my tracker to the same task. That would be slick!

(b) Suppose there was an option to double the hours recorded. I could turn off the tracker at my desk when I go work with Joe. Joe could click an option on his tracker to put it in pair-work, or double recording, mode. The time tracker could then put 2 rows in the worksheet rather than one for each entry or record something in an extra column that could be used in a formula somehow.

(c) Suppose there was an option to run two instances of the tracker on the same PC, each writing to a separate file. I could turn off the time tracker at my desk when I go work with Joe. Joe could fire up another tracker instance for me on his PC.

thanks
