I suppose it should be in the main settings panel.

configure shortucts option in settings...

place option for configuring shortcuts in settings: basics = lock, unlock, open close tabs, show hidden files and select all'd be sufficient.
And another thing ctrl+A or shift+key down/up is not working for selecting multiple files

Please create an AppData file for Tux Commander

Please consider writing and installing an AppData file with the application description and some screenshots, else Tux Commander looks really bad in the GNOME and KDE Software Centers. We'd love to showcase more applications, but without the extra data file we can't. See http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/appdata/ for details; thanks!

Most File Commanders use for this Alt+"Key" combination.

User holding Alt key will type first letters of the file or folder and Tux will navigate to first found result.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Thanks,
Good Luck

Left and Right Arrows functionality

Add left and right arrows functionality like following:

1. if you press left arrow key, it will jump up over one page
2. if you press right arrow key, it will jump down over one page

It is like page up and down functionality in text editor. Look e.g. on Servant Salamander commander on Windows. Change view to brief and user arrow keys.
This is needed functionality which increase comfort very much!
With the search by typing functinality enabled and that arrows functionality makes tux commander killing application!

Shortuts to change files sorting

Please, add usual shortuts to change files sorting Ctrl+F3, Ctrl+F4 ... I would like to select more files and than send that list to application with file associations.

For example: with INSERT key I select 5 mp3 files and than right click and open in audio player. Now only the file which is under the cursor is processed. I would like to process all selected files. Thanks

Multiple file associations

It would be fine if you could have more associations with one file extension
for example:
extensions: bmp, jpg, svg -- open with GQView
extensions: svg -- open with Inkscape
---
and then if you right click on svg file you would see both associations.

preserve cursor position

hi,
you like me. all my cases are solved. thanks. :)
now i have another one. Its not a bug but its annoying.
1. When you have in panel a lot of directory and move cursor down till scrolling panel contents
2. Next move cursor up a few position. (e.g. 3 x up arrow key)
3. change directory (press enter)
4. change directory back (press enter)
5. now you see cursor on the bottom of the panel, sometime on top
6. will be great if after back cursor would be on the same position in panel.
I hope it's clear.
regards
For example, the hotlist has three items as following:

root
Downloads
X11

I wish we can press "d" to switch to Downloads, or "x" to X11
It is a lot easier than remembering a b c d or Alt+1.
