I installed latest SDL framework, and the dev package. Tuxtype
installed, and I have in a folder Tuxtype2-1.5.3 an application named
TT2-1.5.3. Tried to run it, but it only makes an icon appear for a brief
second in the dock and then it disappears. I do not have X11 - is that
required?

I am having a similar problem running this under Panther and Tiger. Does
anyone update this project anymore? If so is there a certain version of the SDL
framework I need to use?

I have the same problem: TT2-15.3 and SDL 2.9.1

I got it working. I had to download serveral SDL frameworks. The were
SDL_image.framework
SDL.framework
SDL_mixer.framework
SDL_ttf.framework

They all belong in /Library/Frameworks
