this means there are a lot of xsl templates we can't &lt;br /&gt;
currently test without modifying the structure of the &lt;br /&gt;
tests themselves.  It would be pretty easy to add a &lt;br /&gt;
param element with name and value to the dtd and pass &lt;br /&gt;
