Occasionally, I get odd AVs deep inside Windows event handling as intercepted by utf8vcl.

Always a write to 00000000

In the attached image, one can see the line that fails and the stack trace. At that moment, 'proc' is zero

I have some simple db application base on Zeos, JEDI and PostgreSQL.

I've downloaded codes from cvs.
It would be perfect for me but from time to time I run in AV Errors.

memory leak with timers

I have some quite simple application (SZ Reminder) using Mike Lischke's VirtualTreeview. Problem is that with UTF8VCL application produce massive memory leak inside TTimer (can be seen in Winsows TaskManager). Thus simple VT.BeginUpdate/EndUpdate without any code between produce massive memory leak. With Troy Wolbrinks tntWare components this simple utility worked correctly with FastMM4 as well.

MDI Form

I have an application with some MDIForms and sometime changing from an MDIChild to another I have an Access Violation error.
In the attached example I have simulated it changing very often the MDIChild; if you wait about 2 minutes you will see the problem.
Without uses utf8vcl no problem.

Also sometime when I try to open a file I have a similar problem with its name (string variable): in this case there is an error "file not found" because the string variable value is not correct.

RightStr doesn't work

In the attached example there is a problem reading a UTF file text.
It seemes that RightStr and MidStr functions don't work when the file has at the beginning the Byte Order Mark.

Without uses utf8vcl there isn't this problem, but of course the strings aren't well displayed

With Tnt components, using WideString instead of String variables and without utf8vcl everything works fine).

Packages do not work with utf8vcl

When working with runtime packages utf8vcl does not correctly intercept everything.

MDIForm.Caption maximized doesn't work

When you maximize a MDIChild Form, the caption becomes
form1.caption + form2.caption and the second one doesn't work.
The same problem of bug 1690470 but without gnugettext, just to semplify the debug.
