Support

This is for the "I need help" type of issue. When creating a ticket in this queue, please leave the Status as Open and the Owner blank. From the drop down lists, select the relevant versions of utPLSQL and Oracle.

When someone from the project starts working on the issue, they'll assign it to themselves. Once a solution has been offered, the status will be changed to Pending-Confirmation. If the person who logged the ticket confirms it as resolved (or there is nothing to the contrary for a while), the status will be set to Closed. If more work is required on the ticket, the status could be changed back to Open.

Bugs

This is for the "I've found a problem" type of issue. When creating a ticket in this queue, please leave the Status as Open, the Owner blank. Select the Seen In Version and Oracle Version from the drop-downs accordingly. Feel free to suggest a priority, but this may be changed by the project team.

If the project team agree with the bug, the status will be changed to Verified. For this to happen, there should be enough information on the ticket for anyone to be able to reproduce it. It might take a certain amount of work to get to this point.

When someone is working on the request, they will assign it to themselves. This doesn't necessarily mean it is being coded - it might just be investigation work.

Eventually, the bug will either be fixed or cancelled. The Status and Fixed In Version fields will be set accordingly.

Feature Requests

This is for the "It would be cool if it did..." type of request. When creating a ticket in this queue, please leave the Status as Open, the Owner blank and Fixed In Version as [none]. Feel free to suggest a priority, but this may be changed by the project team.

If the project team agree with the feature request, the status will be changed to Verified.

When someone is working on the request, they will assign it to themselves. This doesn't necessarily mean it is being coded - it might just be investigation work.

Eventually, the request will either be fulfilled or cancelled. The status will be set to Closed-Fixed or Closed-Cancelled accordingly and the Fixed In Version will be set to indicate which release it was included in.
