Configurable indent level, tabs to spaces

I think I submitted this as "bug" a long time ago, so
I'm resubmitting this as an RFE to make sure it doesn't
get lost. :)

Please add the ability to set the indent level and use
a "tabs to spaces" option. No, I don't mean for the
formatter after-the-fact. I want to be able to use it
"inline".

Three simple requests

I am sorry to make requests rather than code them, but
I am so tight on time and life I can barely breath,
I'll still try to code some of these myself one day if
theyre not done until then, but being these just simple
wrappers around existing eclipse functionality they
should be coded very quickly.

What I am terribly missing as of now is:

Shift+V
Ctrl+V
:u

:set sw=2 doesn't work. Indents use 4 spaces and
shifting (>> or <<) does 8 spaces

when eclipse is started the vi plugin is always
unselected on the toolbar. The state it was in when
eclipse exits should be preserved.

Named Registers don't work

Should be able to use the series of commands:

"ayy

to yank one line into register 'a', then use

"aP

To paste the contents of 'a' out, but using the " key does
not seem to defer the command to the next keystroke..

Highlight every match to a regexp search

When doing a search from the command-line ( ex
/rosebud), all matches should be highlighted, as they
are in Vim. Ideally, this would be in some colour
other than the default colour that is used to highlight
text. In Vim, these items are highlighted in yellow.

One feature that I really like in Vim is the ability to
highlight text using the "v" command. This way, I
don't have to use the mouse whenever I want to
highlight text to copy, replace, delete, etc.

I'd also like SHIFT-v to be available as a way of
highlighting an entire line.

I think half page scroll in command mode makes this
more useful.
Control-D for half page scroll down
and Control-U for half page scroll up.

% key jump to matching brace

This may fall under the feature request titled 'Command
mode key bindings', however, I'll mention it here in case it
doesn't.

I use the % key to jump to matching braces/parens/etc
frequently, but it doesn't work in WSAD 5.0.1 which uses
eclipse 2.1.x.

Command mode key bindings

I think it would be useful for the plugin, to be able
to define own keyboard shortcuts. Since Eclipse does
not know the concept of a "command modus" I am not able
to bind keys to commands (just in command mode, not in
insert mode).
