I click on the tab: Project, then Web Site and it takes me to a page about VOIP! The program's author says that it is created / mantained by a friend of his...if so, where is the home page for Virtual Linux?
Has it moved?

New to linux

Im completely new to linux so i thought id install virtual
linux to get used to it, as i need linux experience. Is
there and guides or documents you can suggest to help
me use it. Also how can i get the internet to work, i
tried configuring the driver although mine wasnt in the
list

Hello;
I have tried Knoppix and Lindows bootable CD's. They
have me up and running in about 10 minutes or less,
everything autoconfigured. Do you plan to add this
feature in the future? Nice job, I am just to lazy to go
through all the configuration steps at this time. I will try
it again later as I was hoping to use this Mandrake type
distro along with Lindows and Knoppix to show some non
linux users what some of the different flavors looked
like.

What do I do?! File stopped DL'ing right at the end!

I was downloading Virtual Linux from
http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/virtual-linux/VirtualLinux11.iso
for a good 2 hrs & 15 min at around 78 KB/sec and then
it froze on 2min 31sec (left to go) and has been for
the past 15 min. or so. I'm downloading it with the
Mozilla download manager, I don't believe it has the
ability to save/remeber the data that's already been
transferred & I have to close up soon.
Is there any thing I can do?
Is this not the place to ask?
Please help asap!!

I have a compaq notebook 2 GHz AMD and Virtual
Linux1.1.
I choice 1 and then VL recognize all harwdware but then
stop and write:

"Bringing up interface eth0"... and nothing...

I'm trying to use VirtualLinux to see if it's a good idea
moving to this platform, but when I run the configure
mode, the system stops on "Bringing up interface eht0",
and when I try to run the normal mode, everything
works well (the mouse, screen, etc), but it stops on
the "Bringing up interface lo" message... what's wrong?

sync out of range

i get it to boot no problem it loads gets to the blue
screen after that i get a box moving around the screen
saying sync out of range

I am suffering from this problem,
Attempted to set an old laptop up to use tfe cd and it
just
got caught in this ID loop
