Usually i have to convert the MP3 to WAV and then create a new VisualSubSync project. It will create the peak file and I get to subtitle parts of the audio to help with learning new languages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Having WAV files does take up a lot of space and it would be ideal to play from the MP3 instead.
