I have been using zoom in and mouse drag to set it precisely so far, and I thought it would be nice if we could just set the Length field by typing, and the duration automatically adjusts accordingly.

It would be good if there is a sub-option as to whether the manually entered duration is to be adjusted using the beginning or end as the starting point. And if the entered duration causes potential overlapping with nearby subtitles, it will just end adjacently, taking into account of the Blank between subtitles value.
