I am using wampserver 3.0.4, apache 2.4.18, 64bit.
I don't know since when, but the DLLs in apache bin directory becomes shortcuts. I noticed it when i need to use openssl and got error.

I have tried to re-install the wampserver, at first the files is okay, but when i start the wampserver manager, it changed into shortcut again.

Thanks

I encountered the same issue. I am wondering if anyone knows whether this is apache specific or is it related to how apache was packaged in WAMP. If this bug is caused by WAMP, I could temporary avoid the problem by installing apache directly.

    Hi,
    How is this a "bug"?
Several dll files in apachex.y.z/bin/ are symbolic links since Wampserver 2.5.
The only support is done, as indicated during installation, in the forums wampserver:
No further answers will be given here.

I am not sure if it is a bug or not, but when I check the target of the link, it is empty. And also, when I tried to run openssl, it crashes. I have tried to reinstall and then immediately try to run openssl and again it failed. I installed WAMP3 on Windows Server 2012R2. Perhaps, it is not supported on that platform?
