    Hi,
i've setup Webmin on Ubuntu 20.04 and choosed MariaDB as MYSQL Replacement. (MySQL version 10.3.22-MariaDB-1ubuntu1)
Now I have trouble with the section Servers ⇒ Mysql Database ⇒ MySQL Server Configuration, if I open this, I got the message:

Could not find [mysqld] section in my.cnf

If I open /etc/my.cnf there are only this inside:

    # The MariaDB configuration file
    #
    # The MariaDB/MySQL tools read configuration files in the following order:
    # 1. "/etc/mysql/mariadb.cnf" (this file) to set global defaults,
    # 2. "/etc/mysql/conf.d/*.cnf" to set global options.
    # 3. "/etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/*.cnf" to set MariaDB-only options.
    # 4. "~/.my.cnf" to set user-specific options.
    #
    # If the same option is defined multiple times, the last one will apply.
    #
    # One can use all long options that the program supports.
    # Run program with --help to get a list of available options and with
    # --print-defaults to see which it would actually understand and use.

    #
    # This group is read both both by the client and the server
    # use it for options that affect everything
    #
    [client-server]

    # Import all .cnf files from configuration directory
    !includedir /etc/mysql/conf.d/
    !includedir /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/
    root@svzoefelt-1:/etc/mysql#

I think the stuff webmin is searching for is in the File /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf.
There are all the stuff, where mysqld is configured.

Any Idea how to use this Webmin-Module with this new Configuration Enviroment of mariadb?

Sometimes you only need somebody to talk about it... to solve it :)
    I've found the solution.
In the upper left corner is a "gear"-Icon for Setting up the Mysql Databes area. There you can choose where the Config-File will be found.
I've switched it to the mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf and it works now.

I tried this. It didn't work. And realistically it may only look in the individual config file given even if it did.

What exactly didn't work? What error did you get?
