Also, what does echo $tempdir output on your system?

  • Hans van Schooten

the output is empty, i run the latest version of MacOS Catalina beta and when i tried to install it on a clean system it made a directory in the etc/tmp directory called .webmin

Ok, I will need to try this on an updated MacOS system myself..

well the strange thing is that webmin has nearly the same script, and that one installs fine without any problem. so i really am astonised about why usermin won't do it.

    Hans, hi.

Jamie update the install script. Try this version please:
    https://github.com/webmin/usermin/blob/master/setup.sh

Sorry doesn't work either, get now ./setup.sh: line 321: /1031.os: No such file or directory
